Guilford is a town in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States, that borders Madison, Branford, North Branford and Durham, and is situated on I-95 and the Connecticut seacoast. The population was 22,375 at the 2010 census. In 2015 the population stands at approximately 22,413 people.
Scammers are posing as police officers to try and dupe people into handing over financial information. Phone calls even appear to come from a local police station, say officers from Camden Police Area Command in NSW, which is a warning the public to beware of the new tactics.
Telstra customers beware: there’s a new, and very convincing scam that could be hitting your inbox soon. Images obtained by 9NEWS show a legitimate-looking email bill sent to an address earlier this month with the usual company subject line, “Your new Telstra Bill is ready to view”.
