Moorefield is a town and the county seat of Hardy County, West Virginia, USA. It is located at the confluence of the South Branch Potomac River and the South Fork South Branch Potomac River. Moorefield was originally chartered in 1777 and named for Conrad Moore, who owned the land upon which the town was laid out. The population was 2,544 at the 2010 census.
Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
