Peterstown is a town in Monroe County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 653 at the 2010 census. The town was named after Christian Peters, a pioneer settler. The town is the site of the 1928 discovery of the 34.48 carat Jones Diamond by Grover C. Jones and his son, William "Punch" Jones.

Telstra customers beware: there’s a new, and very convincing scam that could be hitting your inbox soon. Images obtained by 9NEWS show a legitimate-looking email bill sent to an address earlier this month with the usual company subject line, “Your new Telstra Bill is ready to view”.
