Bridgeport is a hamlet located partly in the town of Sullivan in Madison County, New York and partly in the town of Cicero in Onondaga County, New York. The population was 1,490 at the 2010 census.
The National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB) is warning the public to be vigilant of scam calls that appear to be coming from numbers similar to their own. Commonly, the first seven digits (07nnnnn) match the victim’s own number.
Scammers are currently 'bombarding' the Irish public with phone calls, according to Newstalk's technology correspondent Jess Kelly.
