Greenwood is a town in southern Caddo Parish, which is located in the northwest corner of Louisiana, United States. The population was 3,219 at the 2010 census, up from 2,458 in 2000, and 3,199 at the 2018 American Community Survey. Greenwood ranks as 3rd in population in Caddo Parish after Shreveport and Vivian. Part of the Shreveport-Bossier City metropolitan statistical area, it is located 15 miles west of downtown Shreveport.
