Winter Springs is a city in Seminole County, Florida, United States. The population was 33,282 at the 2010 census. According to the 2019 Census Bureau estimates, the city has a population of 37,312. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city was originally "North Orlando" but because it was not connected to the city of Orlando, the confusion led to the new name "Winter Springs."
