Keeseville is a hamlet in Clinton and Essex counties, New York, in the United States. The population was 1,815 at the 2010 census. The hamlet was named after the Keese family, early settlers from Vermont. It developed along the Ausable River, which provided water power for mills and industrial development. My comment has disappeared or has been edited, why?
We edit and delete comments for the following reasons:

How can I report an inappropriate comment?
Every user can deactivate any comment until the moderators deal with it. Just click the Delete button in the menu found at each comment. The user is then redirected to a short form where they can explain to moderators why they believe the comment is harmful. Processing of this request usually takes about a week. Then the user is informed about how the moderators dealt with the comment.
