Groveton is a census-designated place and the primary village in the town of Northumberland in Coos County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 1,118 at the 2010 census. It is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 3 and New Hampshire Route 110. The paper mill, which was the primary employer in Groveton, was closed by Wausau Papers in 2008. Groveton is part of the Berlin, NH–VT Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
