Bellwood is a village in Proviso Township, Cook County, Illinois, United States. Located 13 miles west of Chicago's downtown Loop, the Village of Bellwood is bounded by the Eisenhower Expressway, the Proviso yards of the former Chicago & Northwestern, now Union Pacific Railroad, and the suburbs of Maywood and Hillside and Berkeley. The Centre will issue a notice to WhatsApp seeking to know the reasons behind the sudden spurt in spam calls on the instant messaging and calling app, the Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar said.
These spam calls with international numbers, mostly from African and Southeast Asian countries, along with fake messages from unknown users, have flooded WhatsApp and Indians have nowhere to go but Twitter to share their ordeal.
