The Town of Del Norte is a Statutory Town that is the county seat of Rio Grande County, Colorado, United States. The town's name is generally pronounced /ˈdɛl nɔɹt/. The town population was 1,686 at the 2010 census.
Scammers are posing as police officers to try and dupe people into handing over financial information. Phone calls even appear to come from a local police station, say officers from Camden Police Area Command in NSW, which is a warning the public to beware of the new tactics.
