Sumter is a city in and the county seat of Sumter County, South Carolina, United States. Known as the Sumter Metropolitan Statistical Area, the namesake county adjoins Clarendon and Lee to form the core of Sumter-Lee-Clarendon Tri-county area of South Carolina that includes three counties straddling the border of the Sandhills, Pee Dee, and Lowcountry regions. Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
Google and other search engines (Bing, Yandex…) have their own memory, so they don’t display an excerpt from the site that always 100% corresponds to reality.
