Ash Flat is a city in Fulton and Sharp counties in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The population was 1,082 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Sharp County.It is located in the state's Ozarks Region, approximately 130 miles north-northeast of Little Rock and 75 miles northwest of Jonesboro.
Scammers are posing as police officers to try and dupe people into handing over financial information. Phone calls even appear to come from a local police station, say officers from Camden Police Area Command in NSW, which is a warning the public to beware of the new tactics.
