Conroe is a city and the county seat of Montgomery County, Texas, United States, at about 40 miles north of Houston. It is a principal city in the Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land metropolitan area. Scamwatch is warning Australians to be wary of an online scam pretending to be from the Australian Boarder Force. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said a recorded message claiming to be from the Australian Boarder Force (ABF) is being sent around.
Scamwatch posted a tweet today saying people had been receiving phone calls with automated messages that pretended to inform the listener of a problem.
